Farewell
SAD POST WARNING!
This is my last blog post relating to Leadership and Media Strategies (COMM6610) :(
It is time to wrap up the series of conversations, stories, and discussions from the past nine weeks. Before I start, I have to thank YOU, readers, for taking time to explore my blog. I have enjoyed getting to share my thoughts about what I have learned in class. This has been an outlet for me to analyze important topics and correlate them to my own real-life experiences. Thank you, Dr. P., for creating this opportunity!

To bring it in, I would like to circle back to one of my favorite topics: everyday leadership. One of my greatest takeaways from this course was the TedTalk on everyday leadership and having a “lollipop” moment. I discussed this in my November 6th blog post. From here on out, I am challenging myself to be the reason someone has a lollipop moment every day. By using everyday leadership, kindness, and listening skills, I can be the reason someone smiles or has a good day. I plan to use acts of kindness and words each day to motivate someone and brighten their day. This could be through participating in volunteer efforts, complimenting a stranger, or helping a friend through a tough time.
I hope you will do the same!
